Well, all of my prayers are beginning to be answered. Yesterday my parents (mainly my dad) finally decided that I will be able to fly alone and, therefore, go to Haiti for most of the month of February. I will be working with the organization Mission of Hope and during my stay will be assisting in the various areas around the base; I would love to be working with the orphanage and school at MOH and maybe even learn a little something through helping at the on site hospital. But really I will just be doing anything and working anywhere where I am needed. Now, the biggest obstacle is yet to be overcome...money. I need to raise somewhere close to $1600 before February. There is no doubt in my mind that God can and will provide this sum of money, however, I need as much help as I can get. I am hoping to host a middle school Christmas dance at the AV-W grade school, sell cinnamon rolls after Sunday church services, have a bake sale, and perhaps a Christmas item auction at the church as well...I will also be gladly accepting donations :) The most important thing, of course, is prayer. Please keep me in yours.
Much love,
Hanna Linden
